The last cloud in Venice

The last screening of Tzu Nyen's art piece at the Singapore Pavilion of the 54th Venice Biennale took place on the 27th November 2011~ Well although as custodians of the pavilion, we have watched, listened, spoke about, talked about, debated about, related to, promoted, clarified, disallowed anyone who wanted to turn the volume down because it was too loud, we had grown so accustomed and relational to the Cloud of Unknowing over this short span of 6 weeks.

The Cloud of Unknowing had become one of knowing with rooms for more understanding and reflection. Many interested visitors have come to us, trying to seek a clearer level of understanding and realised they have actually did without any of our explanation. Some have had put across their experiences in a deeper transient level which we found it very intriguing to talk about. Many have had commended on the surround experience of the artwork ranging from the imagery, sounds, flow of film, and not to forget the Smoke Effects and nonetheless, the cushion clouds being in place.

It was an emotional moment looking at the final finale segment of the installation with the blank screen with the cloud of unknowing arising!

Here you go!
