While Venice thickens with tourists under the mid-day sun, our tech team huddles in the shade of a cool building, setting up speakers, fog emitters, lights and programming sound. Puncturing the heavy breathing in Tzu Nyen's video, a gondolier sings with gusto through the canal just outside the pavilion as church bells chime the hour.
The hall's architecture is ancient, like the rest of the city. All our modern equipment starkly intervenes in the space, but we're not complaining for the wi-fi cushioning our Macbooks!
